Terms of Service
Last updated: March 14, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Accordo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
2. Description of Service
Accordo is a marketplace platform that connects musicians with event organizers. We facilitate the discovery, communication, and booking process between these parties. Accordo is not a party to the agreements between musicians and organizers and does not employ, contract, or control musicians listed on the platform.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Types and Roles
The Service supports two primary user roles: Musicians and Event Organizers. Each role carries specific responsibilities. Musicians are responsible for accurately representing their skills, availability, and qualifications. Organizers are responsible for accurately describing event details, requirements, and compensation terms.
5. Bookings and Payments
Bookings are formed when both parties agree to terms through the platform. Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Service fees apply to all transactions: organizers pay a platform fee on each booking, and musicians have a service fee deducted from their payout. All fees are disclosed before payment confirmation.
6. Cancellation Policy
Confirmed bookings are subject to a tiered cancellation policy based on time before the event. Refund amounts vary depending on when the cancellation occurs. Both parties are encouraged to review the cancellation terms displayed during the booking process. Details of the cancellation tiers are provided in the booking confirmation.
7. Disputes
In the event of a dispute between users, Accordo provides a dispute resolution process. Users may file disputes through the platform, provide evidence, and receive a resolution from our team. Accordo reserves the right to make final binding decisions on disputes involving platform-processed payments.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not: misrepresent their identity or qualifications; engage in fraud or deceptive practices; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; circumvent the platform to avoid service fees; upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, design, and technology are owned by Accordo. Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant Accordo a limited license to display and distribute it within the platform for service delivery purposes. Users must not upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accordo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Accordo does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by users. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
Accordo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time through the platform settings. Upon termination, users remain responsible for any outstanding obligations including pending bookings or payments.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through the dispute resolution mechanisms specified herein.
